Research Interests:
Application of electron microscopy and microanalysis for characterization of materials and minerals at microscopic level and understanding of the real mineral structure and behavior, including the processes of mineral growth and phase transformations and their petrological implications. Research activies can be divided into three main fields:
- Crystal defects and behavior of minerals.
- Structural and compositional characterization of micro and nanocrystalline phases.
- The properties of crystalline surfaces and epitaxial growth.
